Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration logoThe entire West Chester Liberty community is invited to the 20th annual celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, Jan. 21. The March for Unity will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Union Centre’s Clock Tower and conclude at Lakota West, where the program, beginning at 11:15 a.m., will lead into a free lunch donated by local restaurants.

As part of the celebration, a contest was recently held that challenged students to address how we can unite in a world that is divided and polarized in so many ways. All student entries will be on display at Lakota West, and winning essays, skits, songs, artwork or videos will be presented during the program.
