MLK Day "Live the Dream: Our Declaration of Unity" logoThe entire West Chester Liberty community is invited to the 21st annual celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, Jan. 20. The March for Unity will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Union Centre’s Clock Tower and conclude at Lakota West, where the program, beginning at 11:15 a.m., will lead into a free lunch donated by local restaurants.

This year’s contest, themed “20-20 Vision,” challenged students to use their hindsight vision to identify Dr. King’s single most important accomplishment. All student entries will be on display at Lakota West, and winning essays, skits, songs, artwork or videos will be presented during the program.
