Students who will be in grades 7-12 next fall and who want to participate in the College Credit Plus (CCP) program need to submit an “intent to participate” form to their school guidance office no later than March 31.
The forms, which are the first step to participate in CCP, can also be mailed to the school office with a postmark no later than April 1. The forms will not be accepted after these deadlines.
The CCP is another option for Lakota’s junior high and high school students to earn college and high school credits simultaneously. The courses are offered through agreements with local public universities.
In addition to submitting the “intent to participate” form, students will need to apply to the college or university CCP program by completing the institution’s online application. Students will then register for classes either with the college hosting the course on its campus or through their guidance office if the class is being held at Lakota.
