About Lakota's Choir Program
Lakota's high school choir programs build upon the foundation set in junior high, exposing students to vocal pedagogy, music theory, ear training, sight reading and more.
Especially as they enter high school choir, students have the opportunity to join a wide range of performance groups and ensembles to participate in local, regional and statewide competitions.
Beyond their school performances, choral students frequently share their talents outside the classroom, too. Lakota East choirs, for example, perform an annual holiday concert with the West Chester Symphony (pictured left) and raise funds to travel to Disney World Orlando for workshops and performance opportunities.
