Lakota East Secretary Wins Laptop

Principal, Keith Kline; Tammy Ransick, laptop winner; and Economics Center Representative
|
Tammy Ransick, the Office Manager at Lakota East High School, was the Grand Prize Winner of The Economics Center at the University of Cincinnati's "Go Green" initiative. The Economics Center at the University of Cincinnati is a resource center for local educators, providing training and professional development opportunities to incorporate economics and financial education into the curriculum. Recently, the Center launched a “Go Green” initiative providing incentive for local schools to submit the number of promotional flyers needed to inform educators of upcoming opportunities for each school, in hopes to avoid sending 100 flyers if there are only 50 teachers in the building. Each school to submit information was entered into a drawing to giveaway a laptop as the grand prize and 20 Kroger gift cards.
Over 90 local schools participated.
