The Lakota East Music program is known in the region for its outstanding program and with 25 Lakota East students being selected to participate in 2010 OMEA All State Band, Orchestra and Jazz Ensembles, it is clear the program has earned its excellent reputation. Students were selected for the state performance after based on recorded auditions submitted last spring.
The ensembles are scheduled to perform at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 30th, 2010 in the Millennium Bronze Ball Room in downtown Cincinnati. Students at Lakota East are lead by Mr. William Thomas, Director, Mr. Robert Tanis, Asst. Director and Mr. Todd Hartman Director of Jazz Studies.
