This is the mission statement of Lakota Local Schools. In order to achieve this, WE must ensure that every classroom and school community provide an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all of our students.

Lakota’s Outreach Diversity and Inclusion (LODI) department is proud to lead this effort through a range of both internal- and external-facing programs that celebrate the diverse culture that defines Lakota. On Dec. 3, LODI will host a Community Conversation that challenges students, staff, parents and community members to discuss the current opportunities and challenges for continuing this important work.

Following the traditional format of Lakota’s Community Conversations, participants will break into small groups to exchange ideas with neighbors and school leaders, including school board members. Join us for this virtual Community Conversation on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.. Advanced registration is required. Registration closes at noon on Dec. 3. The Zoom link will be shared with all participants by 4 p.m. on that day.
