Business & Marketing Co-Op Position
The Brands Insurance Agency, Inc. is offering a paid co-op opportunity to a Lakota student interested in learning the ins and outs of business, marketing, insurance, and office management. This is a paid co-op position, and ideal candidates are flexible, positive and have a great work ethic.
The selected student for this position would work on-site in the office assisting with tasks in different departments which include but are not limited to: marketing projects, data entry, sales support, and other general office functions.
The co-op student would be in-office approximately 15-20 hours per week, and ideally would have half day or senior flex availability to work during typical office hours. Punctuality and reliability are a must. Good communication skills are also a top priority.
The co-op will be 8 weeks in length from the hire date (which will vary depending on the student availability and selection date) with the possibility of extension. Exceptional candidates could be offered the opportunity to keep the position full-time beginning in the summer months.
Ideal Candidates will be:
- Age 17+
- Not afraid of multi-tasking
- Good at prioritizing
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Willingness to learn & accepting of constructive criticism
