Internship Description of Duties/Overview
The Digital Marketing Intern will assist in the creation and scheduling of summer content for Liberty Center website, Facebook page, Instagram page and Eblast program. The intern will learn about Digital Marketing for a Shopping Center, including how to update website, post to social media, create e-blasts, etc., as well as gain experience in capturing photo/video content throughout the property and creating posts with the guidance of their supervisor.
Schedule (days/hours)
The intern will work up to 8 hours per week in person onsite at Liberty Center. The intern is expected to connect in person every Wednesday for four hours or on event dates as needed/available to capture content with supervisor. Can connect throughout the week, as needed.
The internship will be in-person once a week, virtually/email/phone work regarding research social media trends, capture content on property, create draft postings as needed.
Internship requirements/prerequisites/standards
Intern should be excited to be creative and to create digital content. Comfortable working with in-person communication, discussing their ideas and thoughts and providing their feedback. Experience in social media is a plus.
Intern should expect to be appropriately dressed and conduct themselves in a professional business manner in-person, as well as electronically through email. Intern should be respectful of those they come in contact with at the Center, whether they are a customer, tenant, or property employee.
Communication will be conducted In person or via email or social media channels when applicable.
Best Fit candidates would be preferable if work experience related to social media, photography, or general online content. Participation in extracurricular activities at school or within the community is a plus.

The internship will have a summer timeline with a start in late-June, running through early August.
Students must complete the internship application form, submitting a cover letter and resume via the form by April 12, 2024. Interviews will be conducted with students, and notification of award of internship offers will be made in the two weeks following. Additionally, paperwork will be required of selected students to be submitted prior to the start of the internship and will be due May 10, 2024.

Students who are most qualified for this internship will be mature, driven individuals with an interest in learning more about careers in the internship industry. A professional demeanor is a must, and school performance and attendance will be considered for selection. THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP. NO COMPENSATION OR SCHOOL CREDIT WILL BE AWARDED. INTERNSHIP TO BE COMPLETED WITHOUT ENTITLEMENT TO A PAID POSITION AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE INTERNSHIP.
