The Lakota Approach

At Lakota, everything WE do is designed to provide a future-ready, student-centered learning experience for every single child.

The Lakota Learning Team provides leadership and support to help Lakota teachers and support staff deliver on this mission and the four pillars making up Lakota's strategic plan. This includes curricular resources that follow Ohio's Learning Standards, instructional best practices and assessment tools to help monitor student progress.

We are committed to providing our students with a personalized educational experience built upon real-world learning. Beginning with our youngest learners, the Portrait of a Lakota Graduate defines the skills, characteristics and attributes that we prioritize for our students. Furthermore, we consider the mental health and wellness of our students to be critically important to their academic success.

From preschool through high school, Lakota learning encompasses a wide range of programs and options to meet students where they are in their learning and prepare them for post-graduate success.

Student Support
