LOCAL SCHOOLS
We want everyone who visits the Lakota Local Schools website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
To help us make the Lakota website a positive and inclusive place for everyone, we are committed to meeting or exceeding the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We are committed to compliance with Level AA as the target for the Lakota website.
Every effort has been made to create a site that is easy to use, informative, attractive, and accessible, regardless of ability, browser level, or connection speed. Accessibility features include small graphic files with alternative tags, common-sense information for links and forms and a consistent page design and navigation scheme. Adobe’s PDF format is used for some files on this site and can be accessed via a free download of PDF viewer from Adobe.
Lakota uses AudioEye to review website content and ensure it meets accessibility guidelines. This tool also allows website users to download documents in various alternative formats.
If you enjoyed using the Lakota website, or if you had trouble with any part of it, please don't hesitate to contact us. Email us at lakota@lakotaonline.com. When emailing, please include your contact information and as many details as possible so we can identify the problem and work to resolve it.
