Christina French

Director, Curriculum & Instruction K-6

Christina leads all things curriculum and instruction in Kindergarten thru 6th grade. Building meaningful professional development for teachers and supporting principals in staff and student development are the foundation for her work. She is passionate about helping teachers carry out their individual goals and dreams in their classroom and create a personalized pathway for all Lakota elementary students to learn. In Christina's Words:

As a 1st grade teacher for 10 years, I had the gift of watching children grow intrinsically and academically and the ability to strengthen the foundation of their education. It was that moment that I realized how much power teachers truly have. I knew that I had to impact more students through helping to develop other teachers and give them the tools to do the same in their classrooms, even with ever changing dynamics. As a building Principal, I had a goal that every single child would walk out of my school ready to take on Junior High with knowledge, a high self esteem, the ability to problem solve and solid character. I am excited to take that passion to an even broader scale in the curriculum office.

I can offer an opportunity to look deeper into your classroom curriculum to help you meet the needs of all of your students. I can offer you an opportunity to try new things academically or structurally in your classroom or at home to infuse student-centered learning and personalized experiences for your students/ child.
