In Gina's Words:

I grew up loving everything about school, so no one was surprised when I decided to become a teacher.  I earned my B.S. in Education (2000) and my M.Ed. in Education (2004) from Xavier University. I started out here in Lakota at Shawnee Elementary and then at Endeavor Elementary, where I had some amazing experiences that only deepened my love of teaching and learning.  After my time at Endeavor, I taught in the Wyoming City School District for four years. During this time I also served as an adjunct professor in the Childhood Education and Literacy Department at Xavier University. In that role, I found a new love in providing professional development to teachers and decided to pursue my administrative license. I attended the University of Cincinnati to earn my Principal License for grades Pre-K-12.  That license brought me back home to Lakota where I served as the Assistant Principal at Wyandot Early Childhood School for two years before joining the Lakota Learning Team as Assistant Director of K-8 Instruction.

On a more personal level, I live with my husband, Rob, and our three dogs, Rosie, Maddie, and Chloe. I love spending time with my family and am an avid reader.

have taught a very wide range of grade level and subject areas and have a unique perspective on the learning progression.  I have a deep love for teaching and learning and want to do all that I can to make school an outstanding experience for every student.
