
This week marks the start of the second quarter. Lakota’s staff, students and families have proven that they are following the guidelines, wearing face coverings, washing their hands and staying home when they are sick. While the district has seen positive cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the numbers remain relatively low when you consider that approximately 13,000 students and 1,400 staff members are in our buildings every day.
This week’s COVID-19 update will focus on some reminders so that in-person learning can continue.
When should someone stay home?

If a family member has been sick or had COVID-19 symptoms and has been tested, everyone MUST remain home until you receive the results.

If a family member tests positive, you MUST stay home and quarantine for 14 days from the last date of contact.
