WE are excited to welcome our students back into our buildings for the 2021-2022 school year. It is our continued hope that this school year will have a more “normal” look and feel as we get "back to the future".

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Along with following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Ohio Department of Health and the Butler County General Health District, we have consulted with experts from UC Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to determine COVID-related safety protocols for the school year.

To provide an extra layer of protection, limit the spread of COVID-19 and minimize student and staff quarantines, masks and facial coverings will be required for all staff and students. We still encourage those who are eligible to consider getting the COVID-19 vaccination.

We continue to ask our staff and families to review our health assessment before coming to school each day. By staying home when you or your child are not feeling well, you will not only help protect others from COVID, but will also help stop the spread of illnesses such as the flu. Click here to view our health assessment checklist.

Our theme for this school year is "Back to the Future: WE are Better Together." Following a year of distancing and protocols that inhibited true collaboration, we look forward to our students, staff and community coming back together to provide the best educational experience to every single Lakota student.
