
Lakota Local Schools is proud to present the first-ever Lakota Safety Village, hosted by the West Chester Police Department and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Divisions at Lakota West Freshman.
Enroll in one of the nine weekly summer sessions to get your child kindergarten ready. Participants will learn about basic safety skills and proper school etiquette, including:

Pedestrian and Bike Safety
- Fire Safety
- Proper Bus Safety and Behavior
- Stranger Danger
- School Safety Drills
- PAX Behavior (self-management skills)
- School Expectations
Classroom lessons are accompanied by hands on training that includes the use of pedal cars. At the end of the week, your child will earn a diploma in safety.

he five-day sessions are limited to 25 children each and held almost every week beginning May 23 through Aug. 1. Sign up for the morning (8-10 a.m.) or afternoon (noon - 2 p.m.) session.
