USDA Free Summer Food Service Program Begins May 28

The Lakota Local School District, in partnership with the Faith Alliance, is participating in the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program this year. The program includes free meals and fun games and prizes that promote continued learning during the summer months.

Beginning May 28 through Aug. 1 (except for July 4), meals will be provided every Tuesday through Thursday to all children (ages 18 and younger and individuals with disabilities through age 21) free of charge and regardless of income. The summer program is funded through the USDA and implemented at no cost to the district.

Students will receive summer reading books and will be entered into a prize raffle every day that they attend the summer lunch program. For more information and frequent updates for families, please visit the summer lunch program website

Summer meals will be distributed at three different locations according to the following schedule:

Princeton Village (Front Entrance)
8953 Princeton Glendale Rd., West Chester
12:10 p.m. - 12:40 p.m. (Tuesday - Thursday)

Meadow Ridge Apartments (Playground)
