Rocket families,
The temps are going up and the days are counting down, but we are still showing up each day hitting the ground running! Students & staff members are smiling, giving fist bumps as they pass in the hallways, pitching in where they are needed, and celebrating victories both big & small. The Rockets are a family and that shows in all we do each day. There’s nothing better than when a student stops what they are doing, looks at you with a smile, and asks, “How is your day going?” Our kids are leaders and they are growing stronger & more confident each day!
As we near the end of the school year, it’s important that we continue to keep the focus on following The Rocket Way - being respectful, responsible, and safe problem solvers. If we each press pause, get our minds right, and focus on meeting those expectations, our interactions will be positive & we will be able to make the most of our final days together this school year. There’s still much to learn, much fun to be had, and many memories to be made before we leave for summer break!
We appreciate your partnership in making this a great end to the school year!
We are down to our last week of state testing. Our 4th & 6th graders will take their Math test next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then Thursday and Friday, 5th graders will take their Science test. The Rockets have shown great perseverance and determination to do their best, and we are very proud of them!
As always, if you have any questions, concerns or good news to pass on please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We love to hear from you.
