Principal's Message 4.12.24

Rocket families,

As we are nearing the end of the school year, I wanted to take a moment to update you on our state testing progress. As you know, we have two more weeks of state testing remaining. Our 3rd & 4th graders will take their ELA test next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then Thursday and Friday, 5th graders will take the Math test. I want to commend our students for their hard work and dedication during this time. They have shown great perseverance and determination to do their best, and we are very proud of them!

During these two weeks, it is important that our Rockets continue to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come to school on time. We understand that state testing can be stressful, but we are here to support our students every step of the way. Our teachers and staff have been working diligently to ensure that our Rockets are prepared and have the resources they need to succeed. We always tell them, "Just do your best and show what you know!"

Our Book Fair will be open next week so be sure to check out the PTO Section of our newsletter to find out how your student can add money to their e-wallet to shop. We also really hope to see you at our KISS event (Kids Invite Someone Special) on Wednesday evening. The Book Fair will be open for you to shop with your child.

Finally, I want to thank our Rockets families for their support and encouragement ALL year long. Your partnership with us is invaluable, and we appreciate all that you do to help our students succeed both in and out of the classroom. Let's finish the year strong and continue to soar like Rockets!
