It’s Time for March Madness, Lakota Style!

LECS Families,

March Madness Registration is still open for 2nd graders.  To register, please visit:  https://forms.gle/B575vsUct6eYefYN9

Also, please plan to attend one assessment session listed below.  This will allow us to form competitive teams, so the kids have the best experience possible.  

Monday, March 4th, 6 PM - 730 PM at LECS.  
Tuesday, March 5th, 6 PM - 730 PM at LECS.  

Attend one of the sessions, only.  Stop by either day during the time frame specified above.  Reminder, when visiting the school, please enter the front doors, turn to the right and take the stairs down to the gym.  It is important that everyone remain in the gym during assessments.  Please no walking the halls.  If your child has a standard size basketball, please have them bring it with them.  Please no bouncing the basketball in the halls!

Please bring $25.00 cash or check for the fee.  If paying by check, please make out to "Lakota March Madness"

What is Lakota March Madness?

March Madness is a charity event that 2nd-6th graders can participate in at Lakota Schools.  Teams will be formed by school.  Students who participate will be placed on a team and will practice 2 days a week (at most) for 2-3 weeks.  After spring break, the tournament will begin where teams will play each other in a single elimination bracket format.  

Is prior basketball experience required?

No, all are welcome to participate!

Is there a cost?

The cost is $25.00.  This will cover the cost of the T-Shirt.  All proceeds raised through the fees collected, will be disbursed to local charities!  More information can be found at the following link!
