Lakota Military Family Spirit Week: April 24-28
April is the “Month of the Military Child.” As a way of lifting up all our military families, Lakota is proud to announce a district-wide “Military Family Spirit Week” April 24 through April 28.
The week coincides with Lakota’s annual Military Commitment Ceremony happening April 25 to celebrate our Lakota East and West graduates who have committed to a branch of the U.S. Military. Students and staff are encouraged to participate in one or more of these spirit days:
4/24 - Red, White & Blue Day
4/25 - Favorite Military Branch Colors (in honor of that evening's Military Commitment Ceremony)
4/26 - Wear Camouflage Day
4/27 - Purple Up! Day (in honor of Lakota’s three Purple Star Award Schools - Adena, Cherokee & East)
4/28 - Wear R.E.D. Day (Remember Everyone Deployed)
