A Note From the Director

Dear Preschool Parents and Families,

We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents who were able to attend our first Family Fun Day at Barn-n-Bunk Farm Market Friday. The weather was absolutely perfect, and it was wonderful to see the children, families, and staff enjoying their time together. Your presence made the event truly special, and we are grateful for your support and participation. We look forward to future Family Fun Days!

As we move into the colder months, we have begun to see an increase in illnesses within our school communities. We kindly remind all families to follow Lakota’s illness policies and to practice good hygiene habits to help keep everyone healthy. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. 

We are excited to announce our upcoming Preschool Program Fundraiser: the Texas Roadhouse Bread Fundraiser. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our program! The fundraiser packet will be coming home this week in your child’s backpack. The fundraiser is completely optional. The dates of the fundraiser are 10/14-10/28. Money for the fundraiser will be due 10/28 (return white envelope with money inside). If you have questions regarding the fundraiser, please contact mariah.schmeig@lakotaonline.com 

Just a reminder about some important upcoming dates:
10/17: Professional Development Day for Staff. Students do not attend school today.
10/18: No school for Staff or Students.
10/28: Texas Roadhouse Bread Fundraiser money turned in. 
11/5: Professional Development Day for Staff. Students do not attend school today.
11/7-11/8: Parent/Teacher Conferences. More details will be shared by your child’s teacher or service provider.
11/27-11/29: No school for Staff or Students.
