Feedback Wanted: Superintendent Search Starting Soon

As the Lakota Board of Education gears up to begin its search for the district's next superintendent, the following message was sent to staff, families and community members. The Board is asking for feedback through a ThoughtExchange survey. The exchange will be open through March 1, 2024. Read the message in its entirety below.

Dear Lakota Community,

As WE prepare to begin our search for Lakota’s next superintendent, the Board of Education would like to gather feedback from you. We have launched a community-wide ThoughtExchange survey about the qualities and characteristics you would like to see in our next district leader. 

It is our hope that we will have a new superintendent hired prior to Dr. Lolli’s contract ending on July 31. This will ensure that they can work together as the new leader prepares to come to Lakota.

The exchange is now open and will close on March 1 at 11:59 p.m. ThoughtExchange is a unique surveying tool and participating is easy:

• Submit as many thoughts in response to the question as you would like. 
• Then, rate how strongly you agree with other thoughts that have been shared. 
• Visit the exchange several times until it closes in order to rate new thoughts that have been added and add any new thoughts you have.

The Board will review the results of the exchange and compare it to the community-wide survey that was distributed in April 2023, as well as other feedback we received during the process.
