School Board Announces Search for Next Treasurer

The Lakota Board of Education has contracted with Finding Leaders, an executive search firm specializing in education, to lead the search for Lakota’s next treasurer. At the Feb. 23 school board meeting, Treasurer Adam Zink announced that he has accepted the treasurer/CFO position with the Montgomery County Educational Service Center. 

Qualified candidates will have experience working in large districts like Lakota and will demonstrate the judgment, leadership and foresight needed to oversee complex financial planning, support major initiatives and build trust with both governing leaders and the community.

The treasurer will plays a key leadership role in master facilities planning, strategic planning and financial forecasting to align financial plans to Lakota’s goals and future needs.
