S.A.L.T. Talks Series: Winter & Spring Schedule
School to Adult Life Transition - or S.A.L.T. - presents a monthly series called "SALT Talks." The variety of formats are all developed to provide families of children with disabilities a learning opportunity, along with resources and guidance, to navigate the transition from school to adult life.
The winter and spring schedule for "SALT Talks" follows these themes:
- January: Independent Living Part 2: Friendship, Relationships & Community
- February: Work Hard Play Hard
- March: Understanding & Utilizing Benefits
- April: Future Strategies – How to Prepare for When I am Gone?
- May: Assistive Technology & Supports (Community, Home, Medical Needs)
