COVID-19 Information

Lakota Schools is working closely with the Butler County General Health District to stay up to date with concerns and illness trends in our area. As a district, please know the following:

  • We closely monitor the CDC updates and recommendations

  • We continue to monitor the national, state and local risk level and will respond as directed by the health department. 

  • Lakota Schools is working very closely with state and local officials, and is receiving regular updates COVID-19. We will be advised by the health department regarding school closures to protect the safety of our students and families.

For the safety of all students and staff, Lakota continues to monitor current conditions and trends of the COVID-19 pandemic, including guidance from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, the Ohio Department of Health and other health experts. In a parent email today, Superintendent Matt Miller asked parents to be prepared in the event that a school might be forced to close for a day or more due to staff absences and the lack of substitutes.
