Lakota Local Schools hosted a traffic safety panel for its community on Oct. 23. The panel addressed top questions across several categories that were submitted ahead of time in a ThoughtExchange survey. Participants were also able to submit questions during the discussion. “The purpose of this evening is to talk about safety, particularly traffic safety, within our school district and our community,” Superintendent Ashley Whitely told the audience.
ThoughtExchange (Surveys & Feedback)
WE are committed to creating regular opportunities for two-way dialogue between our district and the community we serve.
With this in mind, Lakota uses an online platform called ThoughtExchange to regularly engage our community by gathering input on different topics. The tool encourages participants to share their own thoughts by answering a single question and then rate others’ thoughts according to how strongly you agree.
As a district, we use the results to gauge the most popular opinions and prioritize our work accordingly.
