Attendance Zone Search

Lakota's interactive attendance zone map (Cropper Map) allows you to view all school attendance zones and transportation exclusion zones. You can enter your address to view all schools in your assigned attendance zone.

Canvas

Canvas, Lakota's Learning Management System accessed via OneLogin, is used across Lakota classrooms K-12. Teachers use this platform to post digital content, assignments, their class calendar, alerts and more for their students. Parents can access Canvas as an observer at any time. All grades from assignments in Canvas will be posted in Home Access Center.

FinalForms 

Lakota uses FinalForms (accessed via OneLogin) for all district and athletic forms. Parents and guardians should also log into FinalForms before the start of each new school year - or throughout the year, as required - to update their email addresses and phone numbers for all school-to-home communications.

Home Access Center (HAC)

Home Access Center (HAC), accessed via OneLogin, is the platform used for students and guardians to access grades, report cards, attendance, schedules, bus routes and student contact information.


Instructional Applications (Apps)

As we increase our focus on student achievement and the resulting state report card, we are also focused on ensuring that instructional applications in use at Lakota are ones that  best support student success and comply with board policy aligned with state and federal laws. The current list of all of the Lakota Approved Instructional Applications is available on our website. Additional applications will be added as they are approved over time and as needed to support student learning, in alignment with state and district curriculum cycles.

PaySchools Central, accessed via OneLogin, is Lakota's online payment system for lunch accounts and student fees.


SchooLinks

Schoolinks logo in green and black

SchooLinks, accessed via OneLogin, is used at our high schools to assist students in their career and college search. Students and their families are able to research colleges, sign up for college visits and access scholarship information. For more information, please visit the Lakota East or Lakota West counseling websites.

OneLogin

OneLogin is Lakota's one-stop shop for parents, students and staff to access all of their online portals like Home Access Center (HAC), FinalForms and Canvas, for example. Staff can log in using the same credentials they use to access their staff devices. Parents receive their credentials shortly after completing the enrollment process at the primary email address provided through registration.

ParentSquare (Communications Portal)

ParentSquare is the unified school-to-home communication tool used by the district and all Lakota schools to share important information via phone, text and email with parents/guardians, staff and community members.

While parents and staff will automatically receive communications based on the contact information they share with Lakota, they are invited to log in via OneLogin to take advantage of all the features ParentSquare has to offer.  Parents can update their phone numbers and email addresses via FinalForms, accessed through OneLogin. Community members wishing to receive general, community-facing updates may also use the platform to subscribe.

PreK-12 Online Registration

For new Lakota students, we are proud to offer online registration for grades PreK-12 as an easy and convenient option. New families are welcome to register online any time of the year.

Seesaw

Seesaw is an online platform used in grades K-2 to help keep students, teachers and parents connected and engaged in the learning process. Teachers are able to view the progress and thinking process of their students when completing assignments using Seesaw. Parents can then engage through sharing features on the platform.


Social Media

Lakota Local Schools uses social media to celebrate its students and staff. In addition to the district's accounts, our schools and many administrators use various platforms to give our community a look inside our schools. Follow the district on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
