How do I pay for Breakfast and/or Lunch at Lakota School District?
Breakfast, lunch, and snack charges are processed through a Child Nutrition program called Titan. Any questions about the Titan program should be directed to the Child Nutrition department.
Can parents transfer a meal account balance between students?
Yes, balance transfers can be made by filling out this form and submitting it to the Child Nutrition department.
Will funds left on my EZpay account transfer to my PaySchools Central account?
- All meal balances paid on EZPay have been transferred over to PaySchools Central as of July 25, 2024.
- You are able to add additional funds to meal balance accounts through PaySchools Central.
- If a student graduated before the 2024-2025 school year, and they had a meal balance in their EZpay account, we are not able to move those funds to other students in PaySchools Central because the graduated student did not transfer to the new program.
- All account balances over $5 at graduation were refunded to the parent of record earlier this summer. For balances under $5, you can request for a refund of these balances through Lakota’s Child Nutrition Department.
- Select the link under the Refund or Movement of Funds heading.
- Complete the form and return it to the Child Nutrition department for processing.
- All account balances over $5 at graduation were refunded to the parent of record earlier this summer. For balances under $5, you can request for a refund of these balances through Lakota’s Child Nutrition Department.
Will account balance transfer requests sent at the end of the 2023-2024 school year follow through into PaySchools Central?
Yes, any balance transfer requests that have been sent in to the Child Nutrition department will still be processed and should be reflected in PaySchools Central. If you do not see that transfer reflected yet, please email Robin Rathnow in Child Nutrition.
Will the District allow meal charges to accumulate and charge parents periodically?
The district does not allow accumulated charges, same as years past. All charges will be updated daily to reflect the current meal balances of your children with Lakota School District. Please review Lakota’s Meal Charge Policy. If you have any questions about this policy, please reach out to our Child Nutrition Department.
How often does the meal balance update?
PaySchools meal balances are updated every 6 hours, so after a student makes a transaction (deposits a check) in the lunch line, it won't show up right away.
If you add money to your student's meal balance in PaySchools, it will take 4 hours for the new balance to be reflected in your student's Titan meal balance. If you add a meal balance in PaySchools after 7:30 pm, it will not be updated in the Titan program to spend until 6:30 am the following morning.
What should I do if my account gets locked?
How do I view meal transactions?
Transactions made in the lunch line will not appear in PaySchools until the next day, and any purchases from the previous day will be recorded with a timestamp of being purchased at midnight in PaySchools. This timing is due to when the Titan and PaySchools systems communicate to each other.
To view the transactions, login into PaySchools Central by going through your Lakota OneLogin.
From the Dashboard, look in upper right hand area of the meals section for the Four Squares Symbol.
Click on the square symbol, then click on View Meal History.
In the following section, fill out the filters you want to select (specific accounts or date range). You can then click Generate Report.

I have questions about Pay-to-Participate fees.
Marching Band
- All Student Fees will be paid through PaySchools Central as of June 17, 2024.
- Due to the timing of the PaySchools transition, East High Marching Band and West High Marching Band are out of sync with the billing cycles. This will only affect the 2024-2025 fees.
- Participation fees increased for the 2024-2025 school year from $200 to $300 per participant.
- Both East and West have billed for the Marching Band Deposit for the 2024-2025 school year, which was billed at $100.
- East High had initially billed a portion of the Participation Fee but the bill amount was only for $100. A second $100 24-25 Marching Band Pay to Participate Installment Fee was billed on August 13, 2024.
- West High $200 24-25 Marching Band Pay to Participate Fee was billed on August 13, 2024.
Fall Sports
- With the transition over to the new PaySchools Central fee payment platform, we have been working on assigning fees for Pay to Participate for fall sports. We are working on assigning the fees as soon as possible and have spoken with the Athletic Directors (ADs) of both East and West High on this timing of assigning the fees. The ADs are directing all coaches to give an additional grace period for parents to pay the fees as soon as the fees are assigned to the students’ accounts.
- Any additional information will be provided by the ADs once the fees are assigned for the fall season.
Am I able to see the transaction history from EZPay?
Unfortunately, the transaction history from EZpay does not carry over to PaySchools Central.
If there are questions about meal balance payment history, please reach out to Lakota's Child Nutrition department.
If there are questions about fee payments, please contact the office manager at the building where the fee originated.
