Pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code 121.22(F), notice is hereby given that the Lakota Local School District Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Lakota Central Office 5572 Princeton Rd. Liberty Township, OH 45011 in Conference Room D/E.

The purpose of the meeting is as follows:

1. Discussion to review the process for the appointment of a new member of the Board of Education in order to fill a vacancy in accordance with Ohio Rev. Code 3313.11.
2. Entering into executive session for the following reasons:
   1. Pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code 121.22(G)(1), to consider the appointment of the new member of the Board of Education, which shall include the review of applications and interview of candidates.
   2. Pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code 121.22(G)(4), to prepare for negotiations with public employees concerning their compensation and other terms and conditions of employment.
3. A vote to fill the vacancy on the Board of Education by appointing a new member in accordance with Ohio Rev. Code 3313.11.
4. Potential swearing in of new member of the Board of Education.
