SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE

Pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code 121.22(F), notice is hereby given that the Lakota Local School District Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Lakota East Freshman Auditorium, 7630 Bethany Road, Liberty Township, Ohio 45044.

**Due to BoardDocs nationwide outage for the regularly scheduled meeting on Monday April 27th, 2026.**
 
The purpose of the meeting is as follows:

• Discussion of Board Reports
• Approval of Job Descriptions.
• Approval of Revised Job Descriptions.
• Approval of 2nd read of Board Policies.
• Secure Lakota Cybersecurity Program to Ensure HB.96 compliance. 
• Approval of Petermann pricing proposal for the 2026-2027 school year and to authorize the Superintendent and Treasurer to enter into a contract with Petermann upon those terms subject to review by the Board's legal counsel.
• Resolution of Necessity - Bond.
• Resolution of Necessity - Bond and Permanent Improvement.
• Resolution of Necessity - Bond, Permanent Improvement and Operating.
• Resolution Requesting Certification of Estimated Tax Rates: .75% (3/4 of 1%) percent Earned Income Tax.
• Approval of Monthly Financial Reports.
• Approval of Minutes.
• Approval of ACFR/GAAP Conversion Services for Fiscal Year 2026 and 2027 with Plattenburg & Associates.
• Approval of Personnel.
• Approval of Transportation Impractical.
• Approval of Contracts.
• Approval of Amended 2026 - 2027 School Calendar.
• Approval of Donations.
• Executive Session to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official. (See Ohio Rev. Code 121.22(G)(1A)).
